•Schools  and other organisations are to be given the opportunity of  requesting a survey of their environment to encourage local participation in biodiversity protection.
•A  Powerpoint  presentation of the Trust’s  work is available for use in schools, colleges and community groups. Please contact us for  further  information,
•The grounds of  Thurlstone Primary, Silkstone Common, Silkstone Primary Hoylandswaine Primary and Shafton Primary Schools have been surveyed for possible wildlife development.
•Successful Barn Owl and Tree Sparrow conservation is  taking place in Barnsley.
•The Trust is planning a nest box building project with some Barnsley secondary schools.
