             Hoylandswaine Primary School Pond

The official opening of the Hoylandswaine Pond took place on Wednesday 15th July 2009. The pond was created by The Barnsley Biodiversity Trust free of charge and The Royal Bank of Scotland provided funds for the bridge, pathways and fencing. Already there are pond skaters, water beetles and dragon flies in evidence. The picture shows children on the school council, parents, Mr Woodhead (head teacher) and governors.
